Our Services
We offer a range of services that follows the UK Radiotelephony syllabus.
At this time, we offer a 3 hour online class which includes all aspects of the Radiotelephony syllabus followed by a practical session at an unbeatable rate.
We also offer one to one sessions if required, however, we highly recommend working in a group as this makes the session more interactive and diverse.
We plan to make the theoretical section of the course readily available in the future from our website.
Our Expertise
Martin is the founder of SimpleRadio. He is a Professional Pilot and a freelance Flight Instructor (Aeroplanes)/Air to Ground Communication Service operator.
Our Teachers have experience delivering the Private Pilot License (Aeroplane) course and working the radio for over 10 years.
As they say, 'we have all been there as students'. All well and true but our utmost goal is to make your Radiotelephony journey easier since we've already walked the mile of stressful communication before.
We partner with Flying Schools across the UK to help their students improve their Radiotelephony skills right from the start.
Our Approach
Speaking and listening on the radio seems to be a hurdle for most Students and even qualified Pilots. The team has designed a program that is tried and tested over a diverse range of students.
At SimpleRadio, we have the experience of breaking down complicated matter into a much simpler form. We use learning aids and extremely simplified techniques to enable candidates to communicate as naturally and stress free as possible.
We understand User design and have used this to develop our Radio cards to help you in flight. We continue to develop it as we gain more insight.
You do not need prior experience or need to be a native to get it right. Understanding and practise would get you there!
We believe Radiotelephony (RT) training should begin from day 1 of training just as our saying goes "little drops of RT makes an effective communicator".
